Yay! Finished with the metro SIF today. So happy!

I was damn angry with metro yesterday. They somehow give me the feeling that they are hypocrites, like they are doing such things only for publicity. Charity indeed. One example out of the many would be that they keep urging us to sell cookies instead of just the standard bears and said that its because the cookies cost more. So then I asked if this is because there will be more money for charity. They were like..umm..no. its because its nearing the expiry date and we don't want to waste our cost. What?! Its because they want to cover their expenses? Nonsense. So I totally didn't bother with promoting the cookies. Its like cheating people's kind intention for doing good deeds. There were other cases that made me mad too. But well..Im too lazy to recall.

Today was a whole lot better. Someone kindly donated $100 and said what we are doing is really great. Then she asked how many of us were working, I said 4. Then she took out 4 ferrero rochers out and gave it to us, and said," keep up the good work" I was so touched.

Then there was this family. The woman donated $2 so we gave her one bear. But the son stole a balloon from us too. But we just gave it to him since its not much. Then the father wanted to give us money too without knowing that the mother already gave $2. The mother stopped him saying she already gave $2. Then I think the father knew that his son is not supposed to get the balloon so he just quickly turned around when his wife wasn't looking and threw in 10 bucks. =)
